As communities face the impact of the Los Angeles wildfires, Grammy-award winning artist Taylor Swift has donated to 10 organizations providing crucial relief to those affected by the crisis.
In a recent Instagram story shared with her followers, the “Eras tour” performer encouraged other people to contribute to the ongoing recovery efforts.
“The fires in California have devastated so many families,” the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker wrote, expressing her deep sorrow over the situation. “It’s been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold. So much suffering, loss, and destruction.”

Data released by the BSP on Tuesday showed the public sector’s foreign borrowings from July to September this year went up by 36 percent from the $2.81 billion in the same period last year.
Despite the devastation, Swift took a hopeful stance and noted the collective resilience of the communities.
“As so many people embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild,” she continued.
While the record-breaking artist and Billboard’s top artist of the 21st century primarily resides in New York City, she also owns a home in Beverly Hills, which has not been impacted by the fires.
ADVERTISEMENTBeverly Hills is about 16 miles from the biggest blaze, the Palisades Fire, that forced thousands to evacuate, including Hollywood celebrities.
Since igniting on Jan. 7, the wildfires have led to widespread destruction, displacing over 180,000 residents and claiming lives in the process.
In her post, Swift shared a list of 10 organizations that have received her donations.

Among the organizations Swift supported are 211 LA, the California Community Foundation Fund, Direct Relief, the Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund, MusiCares and the Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund.
